Sunnie Paxson

MUSIC DIRECTOR

An artist with a unique mix of talent was needed to bring the Homeland Swingin' concept to life.  We are excited and honored that Sunnie agreed to serve at the helm of this project, as band leader, composer, arranger and entertainer.  She is uniquely gifted to oversee the development of this special musical tribute.

The music is guaranteed to please whenever she places her hands anywhere on the 88 keys. Her talent as a performer is captivating, with an arsenal of creativity and technique as a composer and arranger.

Born and raised in Philadelphia, Sunnie moved to Los Angeles and established a reputation as a master musician, composer and arranger.  She has toured and performed throughout the world.  Sunnie is currently signed with Roxboro Entertainment.  She was the first female artist signed when legendary bassist Stanley Clark launched the label.

Risa Arisue

DANCER

Watching Risa dance is truly akin to viewing jazz in motion. She is masterful at integrating techniques from her classical training, into her signature jazz style.

She agreed to perform her interpretation of the first single for this project, through dance.  We are excited to share her artistic contribution, which has been captured in the video produced for the first single, "America: My Country Tis' of Thee".

We are handing the reigns over to this master dance instructor and choreographer for several songs on this project.

Risa is the manager of Hama's Dance Studio, located in Studio City, CA.  For additional details, connect with her via social media:

an original poem, to the jazz track,

"America: My Country Tis' of Thee"

When it comes to talent, the arsenal of this artist is on constant overflow. She graciously agreed to create and perform a poem for a spoken word version of the first release for Homeland Swingin'.

Her bustling portfolio of accomplishments as a writer include the publication of seven books and thousands of articles.

We would need an entire website to document her accomplishments as an author, activist and spiritual coach.   For more about this incredible artist, click here to visit her website.
